Good Values

Sharing great values that connect people

About me

Welcome to Berthe A. warm world 😀

Hi there! I’m someone who believes that kindness, integrity, and empathy still matter—and I write to celebrate the good values that hold our society together.

By profession, I work in the world of transport and logistics, where things move fast and every detail counts. But beyond the busy schedules and moving parts, I’ve always found time for what fuels me: reading, writing, travelling, and soaking in the beauty of everyday life.

People often say I smile a lot—and I think that’s one of the best compliments anyone can give. Through this blog, I hope to pass on some of that positivity, share reflections on the values that make life meaningful, and maybe even spark a few smiles along the way.

Thanks for being here. Let’s journey together.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be grateful, not just saying thanks out of habit, but really feeling it. The kind of gratefulness that sits quietly in your chest and makes you take a deep breath because, somehow, even in the middle of the chaos, you know there’s something good right here.

It’s easy to get caught up in everything that’s not going right. The things we don’t have. The plans that didn’t work out. The people we wish were still here. But somewhere in the middle of all that, there are still small, solid things holding us up: like a kind word, a hot drink, someone who checks in just because, or even the comfort of a quiet evening after a long day.

Gratitude, I think, is about choosing to notice those things. It’s not pretending everything is perfect. It’s recognizing that even if things are hard, they’re not only hard. There’s still some beauty. Some kindness. Some light.

Being grateful doesn’t mean we ignore pain or stop growing. It just means we honor what’s already good, even as we work toward what could be better.

So today, I’m grateful for the little things I used to overlook. For the people who show up in small but meaningful ways. For every moment that reminds me life, in all its mess and magic, is still something to be thankful for.

With this post, I offer my heartfelt thanks to ma petite mama Ama Ametɔ Sitsoƒe Victoria for her love, care, and everything she quietly does for me.
